Australia Ep.7: Scrutineering with Despres!

Another fantastic day in Perth (apart from the shitty rainy weather today), this morning went up to the workshop and had a Team meeting where the “modus operandi” of the next days was discussed in an extremely professional way, it just felt like being part of a Formula 1 Team! Garry Connell has set up an incredible structure like a top manager, furthermore its all thanks to him if me and the other riders are here racing. After the meeting we all went down with our bikes at Hillarys for scrutineering and a miracle happened, while i was checking some stuff on my bike, someone in Italian said to me “Ciao come stai?” which means “Hi how are you”, i turned around and it was Cyril Despres (3 times Dakar winner) that had recognized me (i told you some sort of paranormal event happened). I have been racing with Cyril several times in the Sardinia Rally Race, but the fact that he recognized me and came to speak to me really shows what type of champion and fantastic person he is. After all the checks we went to the Ktm/Husaberg Party, had a good time and now i’m in my bedroom falling asleep so sorry for my bad writing. Here the pics of the day :)
