As i anticipated you in my previous blog, here i will show you the stuff from the Alpinestars City Collection that i have received, cool stuff! Here is a first photo of me fully dressed Alpinestars.
Alpinestars T-Shirt Northshore Tech Fleece
Alpinestars Aeon Kevlar Denim Pants
Shibuya Waterproof Shoes
Lets begin with the Northshore Tech Fleece which i think is the coolest thing of the City Collection, it just makes you look so hot! heheh. Other than this its extremely comfortable because it is an everyday fleece to wear in any occasion, but it’s designed also for riding your road bike. It is waterproof, windstopper and keeps you very warm. I forgot to take a photo of the back to show you it is longer rear profile in order to keep you covered when riding a road bike (many fleeces and jackets are too short on the back and when you ride your back gets a little naked).
Best of all it has inside soft protections that are removable. A really awesome fleece that keeps you warm, you can wear it with any type of clothing you have on,gives you a little protection and makes you look cool!
On the inside you can notice they have other materials used in order to keep you warm,a detail that normal denims don’t have. I tried them tonight that i went with my road bike to meet up a friend and they work i put my word on it! They feel like having 2 pair of trouses on. They also have inner pockets to place knee guards which is awesome for who rides a lot on the road.
On the bottom part they have a zip and a little strap designed for riders that like to wear riding boots instead of shoes (in Alpinestars footwear catalogue there is a long list of casual riding boots that would match up perfectly with these jeans)
Shibuya Waterproof Shoes – These are a normal pair of shoes that you can use in all situation, as you can see they look very nice and being a little higher than normal shoes they are perfect for the winter season.
Time to go for my first little bike ride since the injury in Australia. BTW you are probably asking yourself what the hell i am riding…..It’s a Hyosung Comet GT 650cc (a Korean brand), i bought this bike 4 years ago off from a girl that had barely used it. I payed it €1.300 and even if friends make fun of me this bike works great! 4 years and over 60.000km with no problems! Now it’s quite late here in Italy (01:30 am) and it’s time to go to bed because tomorrow will be a tough day so stay tuned
