Onboard Graphics Rock!!

Yesterday night i was driving my van from Verona to Rome and decided to stop by at Onboard racing which has been a very close sponsor during all the 2011 season and that will continue to sponsor me for 2012. Anything that involves personalization or graphic designs they are the guys to speak to! Yesterday me and Attilio (the owner of the company) ended up chatting all night about some new products to personalize and had a very nice talk about working on helping kids get involved in motorsports. The Husaberg FE 450cc Rally kit graphics obviously were made by Onboard and the bike looked really awesome, furthermore its high quality stuff infact i used on the enduro bike 1 only graphics kit during the whole season and it still looks new. Well won’t keep getting you bored and give you a little tour of their company and a few products (they make such a big variety of stuff that its better you go check the website or my post would be infinite!) www.onboardracing.it :

To start with i will illustrate you about some of their products and personalizations, as i told you anything you want to get personalized just ask and they will do it! These are examples of different type of enduro jackets and riding shirts made with different materials, some are designed for the winter some for the summer. There is a solution for anything you would want. The way the graphics are printed is a technology i never knew about, practically they print out the graphic on a sheet of paper and then they inject it inside the material, in this way the logos and colours never get ruined because everything is inside the material just like when you go to the shop and buy an Ufo, Fox, Thor, or whatever riding shirt you use it will look identical but have your name, logos etc and look always perfect.

Onboard has supplied the official Italian KTM Trophy in 2011 and will also do it for 2012. Here is a small version of the official 2011 shirt with the autograph of Antonio Cairoli (5 times Motocross World Champion)

Onboard also does seat covers for any bike or atv and gives you the chance to personalize it with your name or company logo, chose any colour or design you want.

It is possible to get team clothing personalized, they have plenty of blank plane solutions with the colours of the different bike that you can get done with your sponsor logos on.

A super cool thing that probably does only Onboard racing is to get you the small toy version of your bike with your real racing graphics on!!! Now don’t tell me that even if you are big grown men you wouldn’t wish to have your own toy bike!! I will soon get the Husaberg toy bike you can buy from the powerparts catalogue with my 2011 racing graphic kit on πŸ˜‰

Photos of some of their machinery

Other products of their very big catalogue is rally bike graphics for big fuel tanks like Safari Tanks, Acerbis, Speedbrain and in case they don’t have the template or you want a particular bike to get a sticker kit you can give them the bike for 1-2 days and they will produce their own template. They do the same for cars, vans and team trucks.

Even if you have a very very old bike and just wish you could get the original stickers back new but can’t find them….they will make them for you!

Now let’s briefly look at the procedure to go through in producing a complete graphics kit for your bike. The first step obviously is the graphic design that is been made using the softwares Photoshop or CorelDraw

Then the graphic is printed on a transparent crystal sheet

Then a whit sheet is transferred under the graphic and you have the final prin-out

To end with it has to be cut by a special machine

Stick everything on the bike and then go be a pimp in the woods! πŸ˜›
