Another pretty intense day! This morning i went for all the scrutineering and bike checks and then headed out on the road to test a bit the bike. In the evening most of the riders started arriving and i met up with some Dakar friends such as Mohammed Balooshi, David Casteau, Camelia Liparoti and many others. After working on the bike all day to get all GPS and Iritrack on i went with Tim Trenker to Ktm Dubai to have some further checks on my bike. The mechanics worked all night on my FE 450cc and tested the bike with all the computer diagnosis and so on, to end with Tim offered me the support of the Ktm UAE team for all the race and made my day! I will stick with the Ktm Factory UAE for all the rally and this will be a great chance for learning from the fastest riders in the world, furthermore the chance to have an extremely professional assistance. After finishing at 10 pm at Ktm’s workshop i went riding back to Abu Dhabi getting just 30 minutes ago to the hotel. To end with many riders and teams like Bordone Ferrari got their bikes released from the port only tonight and got at the paddock by 11pm, right now most of the teams are working to get everything done by tomorrow. The number of riders that got their stuff only tonight is so high that tomorrow morning there will be a jury at 7 am to decide what to do with the prologue.
