Baja Aragon (Spain)

For the first time i managed to participate to the famous Baja Aragon, a race on which i had heard amazing stories and adventures. Went all the ay to Spain with my van and a standard Husaberg FE 570cc i was really looking forward to race. The prologue hadn’t gone very well because it was about 3 weeks (from the Sardinia Rally) that i wasn’t riding due to the lack of funds for training. On race day 1 i started pushing a lot and after not many km’s i started passing guys in front of me but the dust was so much i ended up losing quite a bit. I got by the end of the day right behind David Casteau which like me had done a bad prologue and like me had loads of dust while catching back positions. On sunday everything was going great and still catching other positions and entering the overall top 10 until i had a mechanical problem and had to stop for over 1 hour to fix my bike ending far behind. Fortunately i ended up 5th in the Over 450cc class and i’m still in the lead of the World Cup in my class. Next event will be by the end of august in Hungary. Here some shots:
