It’s been an extremely fun weekend in Hungary, this was my second time at the Hungarian Baja and the first time part of the World FIM Baja Cup. Differently from 2010 this year the terrain was totally different and the special stages amazingly fast (as you will see in my onboard video). Over 400km of total special stage amongst Saturday and Sunday and an average speed of almost 100km/h! For me the race went pretty well, just had a little problem with my steering damper that made it difficult to ride in certain sectors. Anyway in the end i managed to finish 4th overall and to win the over 450cc class in front of the german friend rider Ingo Zahn and Luciano Di Battista from Venezuela. Thanks to this result i am now still leading the world cup and planning on racing the next round which will be in Marocco in October organized by NPO.
