Australia Ep.12: Another Problem….Mousse!

Hey everyone, its been another stuff stage here in Australia and also today i had big problems :( i got wrong in the first 30km of the first stage and many rider passed me and had to ride the rest of the stage in the dust trying to re-pass them and made an awful time in the stage. In the second stage i started aggressive and wanted to make less navigation errors but half way through the stage my mousse collapsed! The bike was going all over the place and it was extremely hard to keep it on road!! I just was so angry and kept pushing the same and made it in the top 10 of the special stage at only 1 minute from Despres who like me is having a hard time and racing in 6th position. Here it is totally a different type of race from any race i ever did and locals go so fast it looks like they are risking so much. I think that also for Cyril it is hard to adapt because stages are really fast inside bushes or along fences, the navigation is pretty tough at times because roads are really invisible. With the bad stage 1 and the good stage 2 i ended the day 14th overall and 1st in my class (later i will publish a photo of me riding with a collapsed mousse!). Now we are at the bivouac in a city called Sandstone, in the middle of nothing in the desert. The city is so cool because it feels like we are back in time or in a hollywood movie!! Here are some pictures of my mousse problem and of the little Sandstone.

BTW: Tomorrow really hard stage with over 550km of special stage!!!! Yesterday i got 6 hours penalty for not finishing the special stage and now i’m far behind in the last positions, but i know its crazy but i want to try and win my class even if now i have almost 4 hours from the first. It will be a big challenge but i will try till the end!
